5 App-solutely Awesome Apps

Everyone here at BumbleBar relies heavily on technology to aid us in our work in different ways. We lean so much on the digital world to conduct business that we are almost completely paperless! Hooray! As tech-savvy people, we also use technology outside of the office in our personal lives, especially through our phones and favorite apps. We use these apps to listen to books, create lists, track our investments, and more!

Any List

Jesica’s current favorite app is called Any List, a super smart list program that helps her out with grocery shopping. The app automatically groups categories such as produce and toiletries and allows users to organize items by store. You can also share lists between friends and family, so no one accidentally buys the same thing twice. Simply, cross an item off your list, and the change will show automatically for everyone who has access to it.

foodgawker

Krysta, a talented cook, uses an app called foodgawker. When asked what the app is for, Krysta said, “exactly what it sounds like,” and she’s not wrong. The app is chock full of drool-inducing picturesque images of food to gawk at and fawn over. Luckily, clicking on the pictures takes you to a detailed recipe and list of ingredients for the dish, so you can make it yourself instead of just looking at the pictures and crying.

Libby

One of Aimee’s favorite apps is Libby, a library app that allows users to borrow ebooks and audiobooks from their local libraries instantly through their phones. Libby can handle multiple library memberships, it can send eBooks to your Kindle, it keeps track of where you leave off in your ebooks and audiobooks, and it consolidates all your loans and holds in one place.

Mint

Hannah has too many favorite apps, but Mint is the incredible budget app that takes the cake! Before Mint, Hannah had no handle on her finances, but now she’s a minor expert. Mint consolidates all of your accounts and your bills, it helps you create monthly budgets, manage savings goals, track spending, and make better financial decisions. Mint didn’t just help Hannah control her finances, it also helped her invest through Acorns and Stash stock market apps. It’s one of those apps that if you use it right, you’ll be wanting to check it every day to see how you’re doing financially.

Patrick said his favorite app is the built-in Gallery app where he can look at his pictures. So, once again, we’re ignoring Patrick.
